SAN DIEGO -- DuPont Landscape Systems will introduce its new DuPont™ GroundGrid® soil stabilization product at the 2011 Annual Meeting and Expo of the American Society of Landscape Architects in San Diego from Oct. 30-Nov. 2. DuPont GroundGrid ground stabilization system is a geotextile that uses a unique three-dimensional honeycomb grid structure to provide ground stabilization for landscape and construction projects. More than 6,000 landscape architecture professionals from around the world are expected to attend the event.
"Our new GroundGrid system is ideal for a variety of projects from gravel driveways to grassy expanses," said Doug Baker, North America business director. "With this innovative product, landscape architects, landscape contractors, grounds crews and construction workers can achieve consistently pleasing results by simply expanding the honeycomb grid and filling it with gravel, soil or other mineral fill material to create an uncommonly strong and stable surface for beautiful and lasting results."
At the San Diego show this year, DuPont Landscape Systems also will feature a full line of its landscape products, including: the DuPont UnderAnchor® tree stabilization system; DuPont Premium and Pro Landscape fabric; DuPont Garden O.N.E.® organic weed control fabric, and DuPont ForeverLawn® synthetic grass.
DuPont Landscape Systems is a business segment within DuPont Building Innovations that manufactures and markets a complete range of landscape products that provide high-quality weed control, tree protection and surface stabilization.
