Dates for the 33rd Forest Products Machinery & Equipment Exposition - Expo 2015 - have been modified to accommodate a scheduling conflict at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The show dates are moving up two weeks, and the three-day event will now happen June 10-12, 2015.
"SFPA cooperated with the center to resolve a scheduling situation that arose, meeting the objectives to keep the show in Building A and during June of next year," notes Eric Gee, SFPA's exposition director. "Interest in the next Expo remains very strong, with many exhibitors from the last show already planning larger exhibits spaces to showcase more equipment and products for our industry," he adds. Plans call for a more spacious floor plan, an outdoor live demonstration area and several other refinements for the show.
Actual selection and sales of exhibit space will begin in a few months. Now that the dates are finalized, promotion of Expo 2015 kicks off this week with a direct mail campaign to all past exhibitors and prospects, encouraging them to "save the date". The oversized 6x11-inch postcard officially announces the dates and location for Expo 2015, along with the show's theme: "Your Show, Your Business, Your Success".
Once exhibit sales begin, SFPA member exhibitors that participated in Expo 2013 will have first priority with booth selection. "Now is a great time for exhibitors to join SFPA and realize the full benefits of membership," Eric noted. "For Expo 2015, member exhibitors will be offered additional promotional opportunities and discounts to enhance their participation," he added. Click here for complete information about joining SFPA.
