MEMPHIS, TN -- Casablanca Fan Company, part of the Hunter Fan Company, the Memphis-based inventor of the original ceiling fan in 1886, will showcase eight new artfully-designed fan families at the 2014 Dallas Market Center Show, January 15-19. The new fan families will include more than 20 associated SKUs. In addition, the company will re-launch three existing fan families and add another 18 SKUs to its robust portfolio of designer ceiling fans. This new product showcase will be Casablanca's largest introduction of new products in more than a decade.

The newly introduced 2014 products were created and tested in Casablanca's state-of-the-art design and innovation laboratories, and showcase Casablanca's innovation leadership. Now, Casablanca is leading the industry with more than 50 percent of the product line ENERGY STAR rated. For example, the Stealth product family is being reintroduced with two new finishes and five new versions that achieve the ENERGY STAR rating and incorporate LED technology. Originally introduced in 1991, the product family has sustained consumer demand far beyond the typical fan lifecycle of five years. Its forward-thinking contemporary design showcases the simple elegant and modern consumer taste preferences.

Custom Casablanca, a suite of interchangeable fan components introduced in June 2013, enables consumers to create the fan of their dreams to their unique specifications.
