CORONA, CA -- Bellota, a leading international manufacturer of hand tools and components for agricultural machinery, launches a pair of new manual tile cutters - the Bellota Pro and Bellota Pop lines - to the North American market. Resulting from two years of in-depth research and development alongside professional tile installers, Bellota tile cutters will be sold through the company's subsidiary in Calif., Corona Clipper Inc.
Extensive R&D resulted in two product lines that excel in precision, efficiency and durability:
The Bellota Pro series of tile cutters is designed for professional installers. The Pro line consists of heavy-duty, powerful cutters with a unique, extra-wide base for big tile jobs. This high-performance line is available in 22-inch and 28-inch cutting lengths, and capable of cutting tile up to 0.6 inches in thickness. All Bellota Pro tile cutters come with two forged scoring wheels (15/64" and 25/64"), a sturdy, shockproof case, and a five-year warranty.
The Pop series from Bellota is designed for cutting common ceramic and porcelain tiles, as well as mosaic glass. Pop tile cutters, available in eight separate models, are versatile, strong and easy to use, making them suitable for the DIYer as well as professional installer. The Pop series is available in 21-inch and 25-inch cutting lengths, and is capable of cutting tile up to 0.5 inches in thickness. All Bellota Pop tile cutters come with one 15/64" scoring wheel, and a three-year warranty.
"Our manufacturing experience and commitment to research have resulted in two lines of tile cutters that are head and shoulders above any tool currently available in North American," said Laurent Nevejans, director of business development for Bellota. "Even the most demanding installer will appreciate the solid feel, durability and unparalleled performance of our tile cutters."
Bellota achieves its superior precision, efficiency and durability - delivering unmatched clean and smooth scoring resulting in easy, clean tile breaks - through its unique manufacturing and design approach, including:
One Piece Design Philosophy
Instead of designing its tile cutters as an assembly of multiple components, Bellota designs each product as a single unitary piece, guaranteeing a tool that is precise, sturdy and durable.
A critical component of any tile cutter, the base of a Bellota product features the best materials available, designed to maximize rigidity and eliminate twisting and bending. The result is dramatically improved scoring precision and the highest transmission of tile-breaking force.
Widened Rail Supports
Every Bellota tile cutter features rail supports with widened contact surfaces, improving the distribution of force along the base. In addition, double fasteners secure each rail support to the base to maximize overall rigidity and long-term resistance to stress.
Solid Rail Bars
In addition, Bellota offers new lines of scoring wheels. Designed with octagonal forged steel shafts for maximum rigidity and a unique adapter, Bellota scoring wheels are compatible with all of its tile cutters, as well as competitive products. The company offers tungsten carbide cutting wheels, as well as cutting wheels coated in titanium nitride.
Each tile cutter's core structure includes two solid steel, chrome-plated guides to ensure maximum wear resistance, noticeably smoother gliding, and exceptional scoring straightness.
