ROSWELL, GA -- Boral's efforts to expand the availability of Boral TruExterior® Trim and Siding products have led to the additions of two BlueLinx locations. As one of the nation's leading distributors of building products, BlueLinx will now make it possible for Boral to better serve its customer base in Northern Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa through the addition of the University Park, IL, and Des Moines, IA, distribution centers.
Earlier this year, BlueLinx began distributing Boral TruExterior Siding and Trim throughout the Upper Midwest - servicing locations in Wisconsin westward to the Dakotas with the company's Maple Grove, MN, warehouse providing stock in the Des Moines, IA, and Wausau, WI, outlets.
According to Steve Schulz, Regional Sales Manager - Plains Region, adding additional distribution locations with BlueLinx will strategically expand the geographic footprint for Boral TruExterior Siding and Trim. "As we continue to develop new products - including various siding profiles - to fit market demand, BlueLinx has committed to offering the entire breadth of the Boral TruExterior product line," Schulz said. "I am excited to have such a reputable distributor in these markets that is focused on long-term, mutually beneficial results."
Boral TruExterior Siding and Trim are the first poly-ash siding and trim products on the market, comprised of coal combustion products (fly ash) and a proprietary polymer blend, boasting a high level of dimensional stability. Suitable for ground contact, Boral TruExterior Siding and Trim are highly resistant to moisture and can be installed using traditional woodworking tools and methods, and there is no need for back priming or to prime or seal end cuts. The products come primed and may be painted any color. And unlike wood, there is no need to leave a gap between courses and no sap or tannins to bleed. Boral TruExterior Siding and Trim include a 20-year limited warranty.
