|EDISON, NJ -- (PRNewswire) Home Decor Products, Inc., a leading online retailer of home-improvement products, today announced it has launched Hechinger.com, a new online store offering a wide range of home-improvement tools and hardware.
Hechinger was one of the country's oldest home-improvement retailers before declaring bankruptcy about six years ago. Home Decor Products' launch of Hechinger.com will bring the age-old retail brand back to life by putting it back in business on the Web.
Born in the early 1900s, Hechinger was a retail industry giant with more than 200 stores across the United States in 1998. But the company declared bankruptcy and closed its doors after liquidating in 1999. Now, consumers can once again access Hechinger tools and hardware at Home Decor Products' fifth Web site: www.hechinger.com.
Hechinger.com will offer power and hand tools, outdoor equipment, building and remodeling tools, welding and paint supplies and more -- all from leading brand names including Hitachi, Toro, Stanley Tools and Milwaukee. Home Decor Products and its family of Web sites currently offer more than 250,000 brand-name products for the home.
Home Decor Products, Inc. operates five websites focusing on different segments of that market. Those websites are: www.HomeClick.com, AbsoluteHome.com, Barbecues.com, KnobsandThings.com and Hechinger.com
