Sault Ste Marie Ontario – Anthony-Domtar Inc. held a
groundbreaking ceremony October 5, 2000, to officially launch the construction of a new Power JoIst Wood manufacturing facility in Sault Ste Marie Ontario. Anthony-Domtar Inc., a joint venture between Anthony Forest Products Company and Domtar Inc., will invest CDN $20 million to build a new state-of-the-art facility that will manufacture and distribute a high quality solid sawn flange, the Power JoIst. Start-up of the new facility is scheduled for Summer 2001.
