New Product Introductions a Tradition at Int’l Builders’ Show

Products and services in 200 categories, from appliances to building materials to home electronics, will be displayed, spanning every aspect of the home construction industry. Following is a brief description of just some of the many exciting innovations that will be on display at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Builders' Virtual Trade Show, located at http://www.BuildersShow.com/VTS, features additional detailed information about the suppliers and manufacturers exhibiting live at IBS.

Appliances
* Bosch & Thermador will showcase the new 30" freestanding convection range, designed to deliver superior cooking versatility, value and ease-of-use.

* Eemax, Inc. will showcase the Series Two and Series Three lines of tankless water heaters, which feature patented flow activated staging heating models and are equipped with microprocessing temperature control to safely deliver unlimited hot water on demand.

* Exhausto Inc. will introduce the BESF box ventilator that offers builders and remodelers a quiet solution to venting kitchen hoods.

* MTI Whirlpools will display the new Oasis, a contemporary freestanding tub with complete air bath options.

* Summit Appliance will showcase its line of outdoor refrigerators with stainless steel exteriors.

Construction Materials
* Arxx Building Products will be showcased as part of The New American Home® 2004, which has been constructed using the Arxx High Performance Wallsystem, an insulated concrete form system resulting in stronger, safer and more energy efficient homes.

* BioBased Systems will showcase its acclaimed soy-based foam insulation product, BioBase Insulation, winner of two green-building awards in 2003.

* Blocksom & Co. will introduce Roof Saver, a new rolled ridge vent system designed to provide excellent ventilation properties at the roof ridge and offer relief from excess heat and condensation.

* EcoStar(tm) will announce the addition of Majestic Slate 50-year rubber slate tile to its environmentally friendly line of products.

* Eldorado Stone will demonstrate a new option that allows architects to download visuals of the Seamless Textures line from the company Web site and easily apply them to project renderings.

* Future Roof® will display Omega® Tile, Futurelok Shingles and Mediterranean Tile metal roofing materials.

* Georgia-Pacific will debut the new GP Plytanium(tm) Thermostate (tm) Radiant Barrier Roof Sheathing, designed to reflect up to 97% of the sun's radiant heat and help homeowners improve energy efficiency.

* illbruck Sealant Systems will showcase the 2112® system, the only complete window sealant system on the market for exterior, middle and interior sections of the window and wall interface.

* Hacker Industries, Inc. will introduce FIRM-FILL 3310, an innovative new gypsum concrete underlayment designed to create a rock-solid surface over wood or concrete subfloors in residential and commercial construction.

* Kroy Building Products, Inc. will showcase the new Timberlast® Composite Railing Fair Bluff Designer Series System.

* L.B. Plastics, Inc., manufacturer of PVC decking, railing and fencing products, will display a new color-clay-in its Sheerline(tm) 3250 Railing Series, in addition to traditional white, beige and gray.

* Master Builders Inc. will launch Color-Conditioned(tm) Concrete integrally colored with CHROMIX® admixtures and other products.

* Metals USA Building Products will display SIPBLOCK, structural insulated panels laminated with expanded polystyrene foam to aluminum skins.

* Monarch/Green Tree Composites will showcase the new Coronet composite decking and rail design system.

* OSI Sealants will present the new FRP Cube, featuring Pro-Series® FRP 555(tm) Adhesive, which provides a collapsible box to reduce disposal fees as well as a convenient four-gallon refill container.

* Style Solutions, Inc. will debut new lightweight ceiling domes, along with new square profile load-bearing columns that can support up to 12,000 pounds.

* The Structural Insulated Panel Association (SIPA) will create the 2,600 square foot SIPA Village exhibit, featuring several architectural designs that use SIPs for floors, walls and roofs.

* UnderCover Decks will announce the release of an all-new deck enhancement system designed to allow homeowners to convert second-level decks into patio covers.

* Universal Forest Products will introduce its expanded TechTrim exterior trim and EverX composite decking product lines.

* Wellington Polymer Technology Inc, will introduce the Enviroshake®, a composite "high-tech" roofing product produced with 95% reclaimed materials that replicates the look of an antique cedar roof.

Doors, Cabinetry and Windows
* Armstrong Cabinet Products will present Waverly(tm) maple and LaCerise(tm) cherry glaze cabinets, along with an entirely new accessory line featuring decorative moldings and end panels with brown glaze accents.

* C.H.I. Overhead Doors will introduce the new 5200 Series Steel Carriage House Door, designed to give homeowners a historically accurate recreation of the traditional wood carriage house door.

* CraftMaster will showcase the new Reflections® Series of mirrored doors featuring a textured, raised-panel design.

* Fenestra Window & Door, Inc. will announce the United States distribution of a new and unique metallic line of doors, windows, lights and architectural art crafted by the Kangyu Group.

* Hy-Lite® Products will introduce new prefabricated real glass block fixed windows that use a unique vinyl spacer between the blocks to keep them perfectly aligned with in a thermally-broken aluminum window frame.

* International Windows Corporation will present the Lanai series of vinyl hinge doors, intended to emulate the traditional look of "stile and rail" design with mechanically fastened 90-degree corners.

* Jamsill Inc. will exhibit the Jamsill Guard(tm), a patented sill pan flashing for exterior doors and windows designed to stop leaks before they start.

* Kolbe & Kolbe will debut the new "Sterling" double-hung window, featuring a hidden jamb-liner and multi-functional sash lock.

* Marvin Windows and Doors will highlight an exciting addition to its door line, the Marvin Sliding Patio Door, featuring redesigned stiles and rails, a stylish handle set, a heavy-duty Ultrex (pultruded fiberglass) sill and standard top-hung screen.

* Mison Concepts, Inc. will display high-end steel, copper and bronze doors for the residential market, along with customized all-glass staircases.

* NEW-TECH DOORS®/Phoenix Door Mfg. Co. will showcase a six-foot wide, 10-foot high Mahogany Custom Entry System.

* Owens Corning will introduce a new Cultured Stone® texture, Cultured Stone Rockface, an ashlar stone with a bold pitched face that is available in five colors.

* Raynor will exhibit the new American Rivers Collection(tm) custom wood doors, the Raynor Innovations Series(tm) residential steel garage doors and the Endeavor(tm) residential opener.

* Simonton Windows will debut the Simonton Profinish Master Series, a versatile line of new construction vinyl windows and patio doors.

* Summit Door, Inc., will introduce a new ornamental hardware line manufactured by Rocky Mountain Hardware, painting and staining services using Olympic products, and the new Builders Choice collection of wood carriage-style doors.

* Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. will debut its new Harmony door style, featuring classic miter construction with a recessed center panel and a matching five-piece door front.

Wall and Floor Products
* Aquarius Laser Etching and Design will showcase custom artistic tile installation for residential and corporate environments, using laser technology to etch images into stone.

* Authentic Pine Floors, Inc. will debut the antique-engineered American Spirits collection of environmentally attractive reclaimed flooring.

* Mohawk Industries will present a complete assortment of ceramic tile featuring coordinating floor, wall and wall accent and trim tiles, which are pre-coordinated by color and pre-specified as to placement.

* Quick-Step Flooring, Inc. will launch "Elegance" laminate flooring, the first laminate flooring in the industry to feature three random length planks in one package, to lessen the chance of pattern repetition when the floor is installed.

* Wind-lock Interiors will feature its complete line of moldings, along with new baseboards, light coves and chair rails.

Building Accessories
* Azek® Trimboards will display the new Azek Frontier Series, a reversible trim product featuring a rustic frontier texture on one side and the traditional smooth finish on the other.

* Brass Craft will feature the new Safety+PLUS® Advantage, an advanced gas connection system that combines automatic gas shut-off with state-of-the-art corrosion resistance to deliver a superior gas connector for home safety and protection.

* Corning Cable Systems will display a variety of integrated fiber-optic products, including the NAP Closure, Local Convergence Cabinet, Versatile Access Pedestal and Access Network Services.

* Dryair Inc. will introduce the new 2000-0250 Central Heating Module, the latest addition to the company's line of modular, hydronic heating systems.

* FHP-Kindred will display affordable new granite under-mount sinks, featuring drains located at the rear for additional room.

* Flex Trim Industries will unveil the XTRULINEAR line of Flex Trim molding, available in rolls for easier storage and sales.

* Forshaw of St. Louis will showcase pre-cast stone mantels, offering a unique alternative to the wood mantel surround.

* Jensen Industries will introduce the Studio Collection of affordable bathroom medicine cabinets.

* Napoleon Fireplaces will display the BGD42N-D Direct Vent Gas Fireplace, designed for easy, versatile installation.

* See All Industries will unveil the new Swinger(tm) mirror, the first suspended retractable mirror system that can be mounted to the ceiling to optimize space.

* Silestone will launch a new line of integrated sinks with beveled edges, along with Muro, precut Silestone tile backsplashes attached to mesh and ready to be grouted.

* Stirling Technology, Inc, will exhibit the feature-packed UltimateAir(tm) RecoupAerator® 200DX energy recovery ventilation system.

* Tamarack Technologies will debut the GV-7, the only fan designed primarily to ventilate attached garages.

Tools and Equipment
* DeWALT will launch the first cordless/corded portable two-gallon wet-dry vacuum designed specifically for contractors.

* Hedges Ladder Boss will preview the new Ladder Boss Truck(tm), a mobile work station developed for use with the Ladder Boss tool bag.

* Klein Tools, Inc. will exhibit a new line of double-sided power-return tape measures designed to enable easy measurements on elevated and flat surfaces.

* Trex Company will introduce a new ruling assembly support tool and support brackets that drastically reduce the time and difficulty of installation, and feature Tex Accents(tm), a new line of deck boards with a rich, wood grain texture.

* Warn Industries will exhibit WARN Works®, a new family of portable power winches and hoists that includes three AC models and three DC models.

Home Automation, Computing and Electronics
* Airtoolz Software will showcase the latest version of the AirWavz Production Scheduling System, designed to reduce building times by increasing communication efficiencies.

* AVAD LLC will introduce its new Dealer to Builder (D2B) program, which creates a clear channel to link dealers and builders in bringing homeowners across the nation the best in home technology.

* AxisPointe, Inc. will feature its AxisPointe HomeProfile(tm) program, designed to give home builders a better way of collecting, managing, accessing and distributing detailed information for each home they construct.

* Constructive Computing Co., Inc. will introduce Evolution Accounting Version 4.0, designed from the ground up for high-speed data access using the latest Microsoft SQL Server Technology.

* HomeOwner HomeWork will showcase its state-of-the-art data technology, H2 RealTime, which provides builders with enhanced opportunities to immediately assess homeowner feedback.

* The International Code Council® will demonstrate the 2003 International Residential Code(tm) I-Quest CD, designed to make code research easy.

* QuantumMail.com will feature its direct-mail marketing services for builders, including NeighborMail, which allows builders to market to homeowners around a targeted jobsite.

* SiteStream Software, a division of MiTek Industries, will exhibit business management software designed to assist with the management of all homebuilding operations from land purchases to sub-contractor management and marketing.

* TSC Solutions, LLC will introduce the TrueLine Sales Solution, which manages the complete sales cycle from prospect to buyer; the company will also showcase the TrueLine Homebuilder System.

* VirtualBoss Inc. will debut Pocket VirtualBoss, a pocket tool that works with the PC version of VirtualBoss scheduling software to access construction data and schedules at the jobsite.

Lighting
* CentraLite Systems, Inc. will introduce Centralite CL-24, a whole-house hard-wired lighting control system that offers the end user dimming at every keypad, scenes, remote access and engraved buttons.

Miscellaneous
* Advanced Distributor Products will showcase the new Healthy Solutions Evaporator Coil featuring the Hydrotec(tm) drain pan, designed to reduce growth of mold and mildew with an antimicrobial additive and low water retention.

* Construction Solutions will display the DBX1000 dryer vent box that does away with the "hole in the wall" look of laundry room dryer vent connections.

* The Copper Development Association Inc. will distribute free informational CD-ROMs to address questions and concerns about structured wiring installation.

* Easi File Inc. will display its newest product for the architectural-engineering market, the Easi Carrier, which provides a convenient way to transport and protect blueprints, maps, schematics, artwork and other large documents.
