Unit 2: Pressure-Treated Southern Pine
Here is a summary of this new eClassroom:

The "Pressure-Treated Southern Pine" eClassroom takes approximately 1 hour to complete from anywhere you can access the Internet and this is a free service of the Southern Pine Council.
Upon completion of a unit, participants will earn 1 hour of AIA continuing education credit and will be able to print out a certificate of completion. Once this person has completed the unit and printed their certificate, the Southern Pine Council (SPC) will receive the name and AIA number of the person taking the online test. A representative from SPC will submit the information to AIA for that person within two weeks from the date your name and number was received. AIA is then responsible for posting of that person's continuing education unit (CEU) credit.

and follow the directions on the Southern Pine eClassroom home page.
Each course is divided up into "units." Within each unit are several mini "lessons." Participants are to log in, choose a unit to complete, read through each lesson, and then test their knowledge at the end answering multiple choice questions. Each unit takes approximately 1 hour to complete. Upon completion of a unit, participants will earn 1 hour of AIA continuing education credit, and will be able to print out a certificate of completion.

The Southern Pine Council (SPC) is a jointly supported trade and marketing effort supported by the Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA) and the Southeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association (SLMA). Together, these organizations represent Southern Pine lumber and wood products manufacturers located throughout the Southeastern U.S. In addition to marketing activities, the Southern Pine Council also provides technical information and continuing education programs to the design-build community.
