Products to See at The 2007 International Builders' Show

Products and services spanning more than 300 building industry categories will be featured at the housing industry's largest new-product showcase. Here are just some of the many exciting innovations that will be on display at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center.

Appliances:

Alsons will exhibit its line of distinctively styled showerheads and will debut IN2ITION, an ergonomically designed system which combines a traditional hand-held shower with five spray settings and a fixed showerhead with an extra wide spray. It is a unique 2-in-1 system allowing consumers to use either the hand-held shower or showerhead separately or together for a full-body shower experience.

Bosch will feature its versatile new built-in Integra Refrigeration, which can adapt to the needs of any household. Available in 11 different configurations of various widths, the system allows for customization to specific requirements, including smaller spaces like condos, lofts and apartments. Like the brand's award-winning dishwashers and laundry, the Integra is one of the quietest refrigeration systems on the market and is ENERGY STAR qualified.

Brondell Inc., developer of premium toilet seats, will announce two new products, the Breeza and Breeza Warm, new and first-of-their-kind automatic deodorizing toilet seats. Both eliminate bathroom odors at the source via a patent-pending, four-stage deodorizing system contained within the seat itself, and The Breeza Warm also features an adjustable heated seat.

Brizo, a new premium fashion faucet brand, will unveil the exclusive RSVP Bath Suite, a complete bath collection that includes faucets, shower systems and accessories. RSVP infuses an updated sense of early 20th century fashion into home decor with finely crafted details, shimmering textures and a choice of decorative metal, glass or STRASS Swarovski crystal finial topping the lift rod on the bathroom faucet, Roman tub faucet and all accessories.

Carrier will be featuring its new EDGE thermostat line allowing consumers to integrate their own personal style into their HVAC system.

Delta Faucet Company will debut the innovative Allora pull-down spray faucet. Now, consumers can enjoy the convenience of a pull-down with a wand that intuitively connects with the spout through the faucet's exclusive magnetic closure, for a consistently clean look.

FAFCO will introduce Hot20 and Revolution, the first-ever, lightweight, affordable, do-it-yourself solar hot water systems designed to reduce water heating bills by up to 50 percent.

Gerber Plumbing Fixtures will introduce a line of vitreous china suites that make bath suites not only look elegant, but perform flawlessly. The three new Gerber suites--The Allerton, the Brianne and the Picturesque--include high-performance, gravity-fed toilets equipped with Gerber's HP2 or XP3 flushing technology.

GridPoint will exhibit its award-winning intelligent energy management appliances, which provide clean backup power, integrate renewable energy and improve energy efficiency. It will also debut new features of GridPoint Central,SM an online energy management portal that allows homeowners to create a personal energy profile to automatically reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint.

Fire Stone Home Products will introduce its Chat Fire Set, a new outdoor fire pit that instantly turns into a sturdy coffee table with a beautiful English granite top. The Sparkling GlassFire burner unit can be replaced by the lazy-susan style fire pit cover and can be accompanied by FireStone Home's metal rocking chairs.

International Fireplace & Grill will exhibit a builder-friendly outdoor kitchen island of individual frame modules that are constructed of fully welded aluminum that can be bolted together at the job site for easy installation. One of the company's owners, Dick Butkus, the former Chicago Bears Hall of Fame linebacker, will be available to discuss the products.

Jacuzzi Whirlpool Bath is unveiling its new Home Spa Towel Warming Drawer, which can be retrofitted into a new or existing cabinet drawer. Up to four towels can be heated in as little as 15 minutes, offering a luxurious finish after a shower or bath.

KOHLER will showcase its DTV Custom Shower. Similar to an MP3 player for your shower, the product offers digital touch-screen pads that control all showerheads, bodysprays and temperatures with the capability to save all of your favorite settings.

Napoleon Quality Fireplaces, manufacturer of award-winning hearth, waterfall and outdoor living products, will unveil the next generation of direct-vent gas fireplaces. The Tureen features a contemporary ceramic bowl, complemented with stylish river rocks and an elegant, polished stainless steel surround providing a stunning focal point in any home.

Sears Kenmore brand will introduce its latest innovation - an ENERGY STAR-qualified Drawer Dishwasher offering the best cleaning performance and incorporating superior style and performance. A stacked pair is designed to fit into the same space as a conventional 24-inch dishwasher, with the electronic controls hidden on the top edge of the drawer to give a sleek look. Each drawer accommodates five full place settings of dishes and offers quiet operation.

SFA Saniflo Inc. will exhibit its Saniplus Macerating Toilet System, which allows for the construction of bathrooms where it is impossible or cost-prohibitive to install conventional plumbing fixtures that require below-floor drainage. Instead of routing the flush water through a floor drain, the Saniplus system moves it through a rear-spigot outlet in the toilet bowl to a macerator pump contained in a small plastic box on or inside the wall behind the toilet.

Symmons, a premier manufacturer of commercial and residential plumbing products, will showcase its new Elements line of bathroom fittings, custom-designed through Symmons' Signature Design Studio in the style of world-class luxury hotels. Symmons will also announce the launch of its Elements Kitchens Line, an innovative collection of pull-out kitchen faucets for the home.

The Propane Education & Research Council will be promoting the benefits of using propane in multiple home applications, including propane-fueled tankless water heaters, standby generators, and underground propane tanks. Propane is efficient, reliable, and environmentally safe - and it's available past the natural gas mains.

Thermador, in celebration of its 75th year, will introduce two new lines of wall ovens, the chiseled Masterpiece and the robust Professional Series. The new Masterpiece Series wall ovens offer a massive oven cavity with 16 different cook modes and 20 pre-programmed recipes, while the Professional Series ovens feature a heavy-duty professional-style design which includes a dishwasher-safe rotisserie.

Trane will introduce the high-efficiency variable-speed XV90i gas furnace with TRANE CleanEffects whole-house air filtration technology, removing up to 99 percent of airborne allergens. While the industry standard is still single-stage furnaces, the two-stage XV90i furnace saves energy because it typically runs at the first stage--65 percent of capacity--80 percent of the time.

Travis Industries will showcase its popular line-up of high-heat gas products. Available in all three of Travis Industries' brands-- Fireplace Xtrordinair, Avalon and Lopi-- these fireplaces combine high efficiency with a patented Ember Fyre combustion system for a fire that looks like real wood and increases the value and distinction of every project.

TurboChef will exhibit its new 30-inch Double Wall Speedcook Oven with revolutionary speed without sacrificing quality. The TurboChef 30 cooks up to 15 times faster than conventional ovens with quality, flavor and appearance worthy of a four-star restaurant.

VitrA will showcase several new toilet lines, including a High Efficient Toilet (HET), the 1.2 gallon per flush, a part of its existing Corina line.

Wall and Floor Products:

Boral Bricks will introduce two of its newest products for the remodeling industry: ReCote, a masonry-finishing system, as well as a new line of interior thin-brick products. ReCote, available in 30 distinct colors, can be applied to any masonry surface, and the thin-brick product line will initially roll out in four color choices.

East Teak Fine Hardwoods, a leading importer of high-grade first European quality teak and exotic and fine hardwood products that are used in yachts, hotels, resorts, office buildings and luxury homes, will be exhibiting their products at the show. East Teak serves the architectural, up-scale residential, commercial construction and boating industries throughout the United States, the Caribbean and Canada.

Draco International, specializing in energy-saving floor-vent covers for homes with forced air heaters and air conditioners will showcase its InteliVent product. Draco International designs, manufactures and distributes patented, programmable vent covers that give room-by-room air flow management to increase residential energy savings and maximize comfort.

Forbo will exhibit Marmoleum Click, a natural linoleum floor covering mounted on aquasafe HDF with a cork backing. Click offers a visually pleasing, easy-to-maintain flooring option that features an easy, glue-less in-and-out installation system.

Greenblock Worldwide Corp. will introduce its "2-4-2" Insulated Concrete Form system. With its 8 inch overall width, the 2-4-2 was specifically designed as a replacement for concrete block (CMU) construction.

Kultur Flooring will feature its Manufacturer Supply & Install program for new home construction and contract renovations. The featured product is a true random-length single strip, with three width options, 3¼, 4 and 5 inch. This is a glueless floating engineered wood floor, ideal for use over both concrete and wooden sub-floors.

Marino/WARE will showcase its StudRite steel wall system, which provides clean, straight lines for maximum structural stability in walls and load-bearing structures. StudWare's unique triangular cutout design allows plumbing, heating, electrical and other conduits to pass through easily.

Oshkosh Designs will unveil its 2007 signature collection, Essence, with a spectacular exhibit of inlay applications. Domestic and exotic hardwoods, along with stone and recycled glass, are united to create the designers' expression of essence of a woman.

Pactiv Building Products will exhibit its GreenGuard line of building products, focusing this year on water-managed and energy-efficient walls. It will also unveil a brand-new product for its GreenGuard housewrap line.

Quiet Solution, a leading producer of soundproofing materials for the building industry, will highlight its new QuietRock 510 soundproof drywall, the most cost-effective sound damping wall and ceiling panel on the market.

Rehmeyer Floors will feature custom-milled, handcrafted, wide-plank hardwood flooring. These flooring options have been used in all types of construction, offering a wide selection for those are restoring, renovating, or doing new construction.

Stairtek will introduce pre-finished stair treads in closely matching finishes and species for new construction and remodeling. The pre-finished stairs eliminate the need for on-site staining and finishing, which cuts down on installation time and provides a stronger finish.

Superior Art Building Material will display its unique, colorful Gemart-brand floor, wall tiles and beautiful décor materials with majestic patterns.

United Gilsonite Laboratories will showcase its DRYLOCK Extreme Masonry Waterproofer with a 15-year, fully-transferable warranty guaranteed to stop 12 PSI. This smooth, mildew-resistant coating can be used on interiors and exteriors, above or below grade surfaces, and on concrete pools and retaining and landscaping walls.

Construction Materials:

ACO Polymer Products' Markant will exhibit HexaDrain, the latest innovation in residential trench drains. It combines simple and easy installation due to push-fit components and easily cut lengths, with a pleasing aesthetic design and grate style.

Acoustic Ceiling Products will feature its Classic Style Backsplash thermoplastic panels for use in kitchens and bathrooms. They are water- and corrosion-resistant for exceptional durability with thermally infused color finishes that look identical to classic patinas. The line includes matching inside corner-trim and edge J-trim pieces.

AFM Corporation will introduce its termite-resistant R-Control structural insulated panels with Perform Guard expanded polystyrene (EPS), and its selection of Foam-Control EPS building products with Perform Guard.

Architectural Composite Technologies will showcase its Gallery Accent simulated stone, brick and stucco panels, columns, and fireplace surrounds providing an alternative to traditional products by minimizing installation time and maintenance.

Carlisle Coatings & Waterproofing Incorporated, manufacturer of waterproofing and exterior-protection products for the architectural, general construction, industrial and maintenance industries, will exhibit its broad range of products, including roofing underlayments, window, door and through wall flashings, sheet and liquid-applied waterproofing membranes and polyurethane deck coatings.

Carter Lumber will showcase its broad range of name-brand building materials for contractors and do-it-yourselfers including quality grade-stamped lumber, engineered wood products, roofing, siding, insulation, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and windows and doors. One of the nation's top building materials retailers with more than 200 stores in 10 states, Carter Lumber is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.

Cleveland Tubing will exhibit its FLEX-Drain product, a new flexible, expandable plastic drain pipe that is an alternative solution to the traditional bulky, four-inch corrugated plastic pipe. FLEX-Drain? expands from 3 to 12 feet and from 6 to 25 feet and is available in solid, perforated and perforated with sock, and can be used in most landscape and home storm water drainage applications.

C.R. Laurence Co. will introduce the CRL Stacking Partition System (SPS), a versatile option for moveable 'all-glass' walls and partitions. Guardian will exhibit a full line of innovative and energy-efficient glass and insulation products for the home. These include ClimaGuard glass, which blocks 99 percent of UV rays, and Fatt Batt, the industry's thickest insulation with the highest R-value.

Haddonstone will exhibit its range of fine cast limestone architectural features and landscape ornaments. The focal point of the display will be an impressive set of steps and balustrading.

HB&G Building Products will debut its newest column solution, the PermaFlashing and Installation Kit, which makes column installation easier and less time consuming. This new method secures the column from lateral movement and protects the column from infiltration by the elements.

Henkel Corp. will exhibit its newly launched OSI Green Series brand of sealants and adhesives. This complete product line provides high quality interior and exterior sealants, construction adhesives and specialty sealants to combine high performance and long-lasting quality with environmentally friendly formulations.

Hickory Hardware will showcase its newest hardware products, including the brand-new Builders Hardware collection, which offers functional hardware and accessories specifically geared towards builder needs and available in a vast range of styles and finishes. Hickory Hardware is a leading designer, manufacturer and, marketer of decorative, functional and industrial hardware.

Stock Building Supply, one of the nations largest suppliers of building supplies to professional home builders and contractors in the United States and Ferguson, the country's largest wholesale distributor of plumbing supplies join forces in a 2,400-square-foot home display to illustrate the capabilities and services they offer to customers. At the display, industry experts - including Steve Easley - will share best building practices, focusing on green and sustainable buildings and construction processes.

Hy-Lite Products will be introducing the latest in home privacy with its Private Elegance Series of Decorative Glass Windows. A variety of highly obscure glass types are married with elegant leading to create the Victorian, Floral and Spring Flower designs in this new series.

Kolbe will unveil eight new products and design options. Among these, its new lift-and-slide multipanel doors provide easy operation to bring the outside in. The new Ultra Series pocket double-hung windows offer high-quality, versatile designs and durable performance especially crafted for residential renovations.

L.E. Johnson Products will exhibit its Pocket Door Frames designed with a guarantee of staying on the track. Now installers can use the Wall Mount track, which installs outside the wall.

Peachtree Doors & Windows' premium fiberglass patio door, The Citadel, will be on display in its new four-wide configuration. Pella will debut its fiberglass Francesca entry door, adding stylish new detail and ease of maintenance to a traditional Old World look.

Samsung will launch its new line of Staron Tempest surfaces, a solid-surface alternative designed specifically with a look that rivals natural stone and quartz but offers all the features and benefits that customers demand of solid surface.

Silestone Quartz by Cosentino will feature two new color series. Both the River Series and the Mountain Series come infused with the innovative Microban microbial technology plus NSF and GREENGUARD certifications, making Silestone a cleaner, safer countertop.

Simonton Windows will showcase what is believed to be the largest array of opening sizes for a vinyl-framed impact-resistant sliding. Constructed to withstand severe coastal weather, the StormBreaker Plus Impact-Resistant Sliding Vinyl Door is available in nine stock sizes ranging up to eight feet high and spanning an opening of 12 feet.

Simpson Door Company will showcase its Media Room door, the newest addition to its collection of interior decorative doors. The new door style features a glass design depicting a classic movie camera and director's chair sculpted on a dark gray frosted glass background. It is available in Douglas fir, Western hemlock, American red oak, maple, cherry and a variety of additional species through Simpson's custom door manufacturing facility.

Summit Door known for custom wood garage doors, will showcase a unique garage door design inspired by the mission-style doors at the La Quinta Resort in California.

The Window Safety Task Force will highlight its educational messages about keeping a balanced approach to window safety. These messages are designed to educate caregivers about how window falls can be prevented, while simultaneously discussing the lifesaving role windows serve when properly used as a means of emergency escape and rescue in a fire.

Visions Windows & Doors debuts at the 2007 show, displaying the Visions 3000 line of premium vinyl windows and patio doors that are built tough to provide years of maintenance-free use and reliability. Visions 3000 incorporates sloped sills and stepped exterior frames to provide the traditional look and character of wood windows.

Weather Shield Windows & Doors will highlight the latest in energy efficiency and glazing technology with its Zo-e-shield Glazing Systems. Royal Concrete Concepts is taking home safety to the next level by introducing its Safe Room featuring Royall Wall. The Royal Concretes Concepts Safe Room can withstand winds in excess of 250mph and looks just like any walk-in closet you've ever seen.

Tiger Claw will demonstrate the fastest installing hidden deck fasteners on the market today. Tiger Claw's TC-G beats traditional nails and screws in speed when used with pre-grooved decking materials.

Triton Power will exhibit two of its newest backup generator units: a 60 kW stationary diesel generator set and a 29 kW mobile generator set with trailer. Along with a new sales program being introduced to builders and contractors, the generators open a new revenue channel and provide increased profitability.

AB Design Group, the Florida-based architectural firm with focuses on builder-series housing including single-family, townhouse, condominiums and community development architecture will be exhibiting at the show. The firm's clients include many national, regional and local homebuilders.

AFP Funding Request will showcase its user-friendly method for the developer, general contractor or private borrower to efficiently submit a construction loan package to multiple lenders nationwide.
