| CHICAGO --The Tile Roofing Institute (TRI) Fall Forum – the only industry conference dedicated solely to the tile roofing profession - is returning to Florida on November 10, 2009 in Orlando. The event will provide tile roof contractors, manufacturers, builders and design professionals a platform for networking; technical updates; market trends; and new product showcases.
"Our Fall Forum is designed to communicate critical updates and trends that affect not only the nation as a whole, but also the unique issues in the Florida region," says Jeanne Sheehy, TRI managing director. "Topics such as contractor certification, economic forecasting, green building trends and code changes all have a major impact on business decisions made by our members."
The TRI Fall Forum will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 10th at the Doubletree Resort in Orlando, Florida. Educational events take place throughout the day and will feature exhibiting booths of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of tile roofing products and services. The TRI 2009 Fall Forum will feature the following:
•FRSA/TRI Florida CEU Installer Certification Program - One-day course offers contractor/owners, estimators, inspectors, consultants and design/building professionals valuable information on tile, including tile markets, tile's design features and benefits, materials specifications, code regulations, estimating, ordering and improved management of roof tile jobs.
•Economic Forecast - Nationally recognized Economic Expert Christopher Thornberg will provide an updated national and regional economic forecast, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the building and construction industry.
•State of the Institute Address - TRI Chairman Brian Austin will offer updates on developments and initiatives underway at TRI and the tile roofing industry.
